Amanda Wingo has been a Lead IT Project Manager in the Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) since 2020. Previously she served as the Team Lead for the External and Reporting Solutions Business Team at Office of Extramural Research from 2017 to 2020, her first federal position. Ms. Wingo also worked as a Senior Project Manager for a variety of projects where she lead in the implementation of the Agile framework in the Project Coordination Branch in Electronic Research Administration (eRA) at ORIS/OER/OD from 2009 to 2017. Prior to her work at NIH, she was a Program Director on large IT services contracts at DISA, DOT, and NASA - in each supervising large teams and managing multiple projects across the full software development life cycle. She holds certifications as PMP, ScrumMaster, and in ITIL. Attention to process improvement, customer experience, and enhanced communication have been areas of consistent personal focus, in roles not only as Project/Program Manager but also Business/Systems Analyst, Risk Manager, and Product Owner. Ms. Wingo, also serves as a Level II COR on the OTT – Technology Transfer Community Website contract. She holds a B.A. from East Stroudsburg University and M.A. in Geography from the University of Maryland.
