NIH Application Assistance Program for Small Businesses Now Accepting Applications

NIH Application Assistance Program Now Open

Is your small business interested in submitting a Phase 1 application for the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs? The National Institute on Aging (NIA) has a great resource for your small business! The NIH Applicant Assistance Program (AAP) is a 10-week coaching program designed to help small businesses file their application for the SBIR/STTR programs. Throughout this program your business will receive a needs assessment/mentoring, assistance with required registrations, application preparation support, and an application review. NIA is one of eight NIH institutes participating in this program.

The best part of this program is that it is free! The APP is designed to help increase the number of successful applications from underrepresented small businesses, especially women-owned and socially and economically disadvantaged companies.

To be eligible for the APP, your business must have never received a small business grant from NIH or received an award prior to 2010. The application opens April 25, 2022 and closes May 23, 2022 at 5pm.
