NCI TTC Hiring Senior Invention Development and Marketing Specialist

NCI is currently searching for a highly qualified professional to join its leadership team. This is a non-supervisory GS-14 appointment in the 601 job series. Key responsibilities include oversight and project management of the Invention Development Program, a gap funding program that advances technologies toward commercialization and de-risks them to increase licensing opportunities. This role provides an exciting opportunity to increase awareness about how external partners can become involved with the vital research conducted at the NCI through various marketing vehicles.

Duties of this job include:

  • Initiate, develop, and monitor the production of all technology transfer promotional materials and activities.
  • Provide independent analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of highly complex, controversial, or abstract scientific information related to technology transfer agreements.
  • Originate metrics that will enable NCI to determine the effect of technology transfer on the public's health.
  • Lead and serve on committees, task forces, and working groups concerned with technology transfer and invention development activities.
